SEC filed suit against owners of Skin Nuvo Medical Spa The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit Wednesday accusing two Southern Nevada men and a former pastor from California with securities fraud at Henderson-based Skin Nuvo International. Inamed announces Board approval of Allergan merger agreement December 15th, 2005 Inamed Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously approved the definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger between Inamed and Allergan previously executed and delivered by Allergan on December 6, 2005. However, Inamed has not yet signed the Merger Agreement. This approval was conducted in accordance with the terms of the irrevocable offer letter delivered to Inamed by Allergan on December 6, 2005. Allergan extends expiration date of exchange offer for Inamed Corporation Allergan, Inc. today (December 16, 2005) announced that it has extended the expiration date of its exchange offer for all outstanding shares of common stock of Inamed Corporation. The exchange offer will now expire at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, January 9, 2006. The exchange offer was previously scheduled to expire at 12:00 midnight, Eastern Time, on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Approximately 1,147,000 shares, or 3.2% of Inamed's outstanding common stock, were tendered as of the close of business today. Cutera loses summary judgment and Palomar receives positive rulings in patent infringement action against Cutera Palomar Medical Technologies Inc., a researcher and developer of light- based systems for cosmetic treatments, today announced that the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued several rulings in Palomar's favor in connection with an ongoing patent infringement lawsuit filed by Palomar and the Massachusetts General Hospital ("MGH") against Cutera, Inc. Inamed submits regulatory application to the FDA for Juvederm On December 6th, 2005, Inamed Corporation announced that it has submitted the fourth and final module of its Premarket Approval Application (PMA) for three formulations of Juvederm(TM): (Juvederm(TM) 24 HV, Juvederm(TM) 30 HV and Juvederm(TM) 30) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Juvederm(TM) is a non-animal based, cross linked hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler which Inamed has exclusive rights to market in the United States. Another entry into the already crowded medspa franchise market Global TransNet has launched Simply Unique Spas to develop and manage day anf medical spas; the concept plans tooffer turnkey spa solutions.
