Industry news has calmed down over "the injectable wars" we experienced last week. This week the biggest news is that DUSA is sueing physicians over their use of generic Levulan for PhotoDynamic Therapy.
See the latest stories at www.medspapress.com Dusa Pharmaceuticals sues physicians using compounded Levulan On November 29, 2005, DUSA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced filing lawsuits against physicians in California, Florida, and Tennessee to prevent their continued use of versions of its Levulan brand of aminolevulinic acid HCl produced by compounding pharmacies, for use in the company's patented photodynamic therapy treatment for actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, acne and other dermatological conditions.
